New Resonance is a jazz ensemble based in the University of Kansas. The group frequently performs around the greater Kansas City area at venues like The Blue Room, Vine Street Brewing Co, and Westport Coffeehouse. 

The group consistently performs new, original music that blurs the line between jazz and chamber music. Led by trumpeter Nic Weaver, ensemble features a variety of musicians including Blue Noyes, Daul Lee, John Fraka, and Josiah Assefa among others.
